Skiing is almost over at our local mountain. My oldest son went on Saturday and had a blast. I think he'll go again Saturday (the last weekend). My youngest son went to the movies with his Sisha and saw "Horton hears a Who". He loved it!! And my daughter was in her high school's production of "High School Musical". I got tickets for my mother and sister to go on Sunday afternoon. I was selling tickets at the door, so I missed the first 15 minutes (I'd seen it on opening night). When I did finally go in to the auditorium, my sister leaned over and "whispered", "You didn't tell me this was a musical.................." She wasn't happy!!! She cracks me up!! She said it was our brother's turn next time.

Snow Day again

It snowed in the night. School was called off, again!!!
I think that's 10 snowdays. Lots of making up to do.
With 3 kids home, not a lot accomplished today. I had almost gotten one skirt completely finished before L got home from school. But couldn't finish it today. I'm also going to make her the Bonsai Tunic from Interweave Knits. She has some knitting patterns marked and that's one of them. I cast on and purled one row...............darned snow days!!!

Time

My daughter will soon be turning 15..............I'm not too happy that it all went by so quickly. I've been trying to think of some presents for her. She likes to be surprised. If there is something she really wants she'll say, but I think she'd rather have the surprise. She's at the age where we don't necessarily agree on what is stylish. I went shopping yesterday for a skirt pattern and material.............5 years ago, piece of cake. 3 years ago, easy. Today, not so much. I do think I was successful, though. I guess we'll see in a few weeks if L still wants to be surprised!

Snow

Yesterday was supposed to be my first post day, however, I couldn't eliminate the HUGE space
between a photo and the text below it. So I deleted it and gave up.

I'm assuming with trial and error I'll "get it".

This is Buster trying to make his way back inside, the snow was taller than he is.
